Brilliant *** A movie which could have been controversial with thumping BGM and ripping off people, played it wise and low. It is still bold to showcase all the characters with their actual names from the honourable PM to Sonia, Rahul, Amar Singh, Vajpayee etc.. The movie showcases exactly what was expected..A PM who was liked by people and even now, has held prestigious positions, is knowledgeable but once he became a caricature in the hands of the
Accidental Prime Minister.:'$hivanjay'dr $anjay Honkalse© The movie is based on Sanjaya Baru's book of the same title .He says he has written that side of the truth he has seen .In fact he says he does not know the Truth.
He has called Manmohan an honest man ,like Bhushan Pita mag who committed the sin of being on the wrong side.
But there r many facets that r neglected either by him or by the movie makers. It seems to be a movie for Congress than for BJP.
True ,he became PM by acc

after watching this movie, you'll get to know..why manmohan singh was so silent and all.....

People who are saying they didn't like it coz they r paid. Movie is concluded with best actors and directors. This is INDIA'S 1st controversy movie and world's 1st movie to see on why India is like this why world see INDIA as backward country and people don't like INDIA because of a family ruled propaganda.I must say it's amazing movie, the acting of Anupam Kher and Akshay khanna is awesome. I must say this movie is for those who have a bit knowledge in politics specially in the time period of 2004 to 2014.Anupam Kher has done a terrific job as an actor. If you are a movie lover keep your politics home and watch it as a movie. People will definitely love Mr Manmohan more after watching this movie. All the actors have done it precisely. Akshaye too did a terrific job.

Based on the controversial book of Sanjaya Baru of the same name The accidental Prime Minister experiments through breaking the fourth wall as the narrator of the film played by Akshay interacts with the audiences explaining them every scene of the internal politics was well executed. Mr Kher has done justice to Dr Sabah's character and the replication is top notch. The tone of the film is comical and we do laugh loud at the Congress party. In the times when manipulative films like Sanju gross 300 cr this honest film won't earn much but will get under your skin as it's a reality check on the ones who have dominated the country imposing the left ideology. I want my countrmen to grow up, I want them to evolve into mature individuals and come out of the boundaries they have created for themselves in terms of religion, politics, racism and corruption. The movie portrays how easy it is to fool the citizens of India. How a political party can make vast universe of money from its citizens. The best part of the movie is Akshay Khanna.. This actor is just amazing. He is always great in whatever role he chooses. Akshay Khanna is the souls of this movie. Anupam Kher has lost his acting abilities which were once good. He is predictable, cliche, and his usual self. The makeup made him look like Manmohan Singh but that's it. He failed to portray Manmohan Singh. He was the most educated prime Minister in the world once and the man was seriously highly educated, Anupam Kher just couldn't portray the man. The movie is good for the humor it delivers and for Akshay Khanna. Go watch it, such political movies don't get released every now and then.Don't go with the rating, this is a good movie with fine acting and showcases the truth that the nation needs to be shown. Not to forget the brilliant acting.

In a country like India, more people watch movies than they read books - which could probably explain why Sanjaya Baru's 2014 book The Accidental Prime Minister didn't create as much of a storm as its cinematic counterpart did.

Baru's tell-all memoir about his time at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) did stir a small controversy, showing us how the then PM Manmohan Singh's good intent was never enough to navigate the stormy political weather he had to endure. 'He is a good man in the wrong party' was the general sentiment as one corruption scandal after another rocked UPA's second term

However, with the release of the movie's trailer and the prospect of a film that doesn't look kindly upon the Gandhi family being released in an election year, one question is bound to be asked - how propagandist is the film? The makers, for their part, seem to align their answer with the opening citation - "all characters , events and incidents are based on the book and have been fictionalised for dramatisation." Utmost care has been taken to keep the screenplay accurately aligned to the book. So, if we have reservations about what is being shown, all that ire can probably be directed at Mr Baru?Acting was perfect of nearly all characters. Anupam kher really did justice with the role. Akshay khanna was outstanding to the core the way he acted it looked like he is sanjay baru
